WILDCOAST is a conservation organization dedicated to protecting coastal and marine ecosystems and tackling climate change using nature-based solutions. They strive for a world where vital and fragile coastal and marine environments, along with their wildlife, are preserved, restored, and maintained for the benefit of future generations.
Project Brief
Create an illustrative design that can be applied to promotional merchandise such as apparel, water bottles, tote bags, and stickers. The design was commissioned to raise funds and awareness for WILDCOAST’s efforts to safeguard the nests of endangered Leatherback sea turtles along the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, whose population has declined by 90%. It was launched alongside the release of Noc-Turtle, a murky IPA craft beer collaboration with San Diego’s Pure Project Brewery. Proceeds from beer and merchandise sales supported WILDCOAST’s conservation efforts.
